Shakara Jones signs with basketball team in Greece

MISSOURI IMPACT PROUDLY SALUTES SHAKARA JONES!

Former Missouri women’s basketball player Shakara Jones (Shak) signed a professional contract with Asteras Exarxeion in Athens, Greece. Shakara is also the daughter of daughter of Missouri Impact Club Co-owner Ron Jones. Shak, a 6-foot-2 forward, was a four-year starter at Missouri and averaged 9.6 points and 5.6 rebounds as a senior. She leaves for Greece in August and Missouri Impact couldn't be prouder! Shak is an inspiration to all the youths that play basketball for the Missouri Impact Club. She has taken the next step in her basketball career and we look forward to following her through it.
